It was kind of already implied that Kathrine knew Toby. Or at least, knew what he was or what he was doing—enough to get the idea of why he came. So it couldn’t be something she didn’t know about.

The agents of V.A.N.I.S.H. can’t contact one another, they can only communicate with their managers, so unless you were my manager (which you could be if you wanted) I can’t communicate with you.

Uh, that’s up to you. You can either just run past and ignore the (possibly crazy) gym teacher staring at you through the door, you can decide to cut through the gym and run past her, or something else can happen…
