The world is a dreadfully dreary place these days. Doing adult things is hard. Getting people to like you is hard. Dealing with bureaucracy is hard.

That depends on what exactly you’re looking forward to. I’m looking forward to having a home of my own, but I do not like the paying of bills or the washing of dishes.

I suppose in a way I do look forward to those things, because it means that I actually have dishes to wash and electricity to pay a bill for.
And without the monotony, I wouldn’t know the joy of spontaneity.

They are so much more.
They had democracy while the rest of the world was still monarchies. Each pirate captain had his individual flag. They had a system of recompensation for wounds and lost limbs.
